Terms of Use
Last updated: 27 March 2026
1. What Cora Is
Cora is a curated venue recommendation service for restaurants, bars, and cafes. We provide personalised suggestions based on your taste profile, community reviews, and editorial data. Cora is not a booking platform — we link to venue websites and booking services where available.
2. Your Account
You may create an account using Sign in with Apple, Google, or email. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You may delete your account at any time from the app, which permanently removes all associated data.
3. User Content
When you submit reviews, photos, or other content, you grant Cora a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display that content within the service. You retain ownership of your content and may delete it at any time.
Content must be your own, truthful, and not harmful. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms, is defamatory, or is inappropriate for a dining recommendation platform.
4. Photo Uploads
Photos you upload are subject to automated quality screening. Photos that don't meet our quality standards (blurry, irrelevant, or inappropriate) may not be published. All photos are moderated before appearing publicly.
5. Accuracy
Venue information (hours, prices, menus, dietary options) comes from multiple sources including Google Places, editorial publications, and community reviews. We make reasonable efforts to keep this accurate but cannot guarantee it. Always confirm details directly with the venue.
6. Recommendations
Cora's recommendations are algorithmically generated based on your taste profile, community reviews, and editorial data. No venue pays for placement. Recommendations are not endorsements — they reflect what our algorithm thinks you'll enjoy based on available data.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit fake reviews or manipulate ratings
- Upload content you don't have the right to share
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service
- Use the service for any commercial purpose without permission
8. Limitation of Liability
Cora is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any decisions you make based on our recommendations, including dining experiences, allergic reactions, or financial losses.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of Cora after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the app.
